Erik Perry, age 30, leaning back with one hand behind his head, cigarette smoke curling above his shaggy white-and-black hair and black knit cap, wearing a dark camouflage shirt against emerald-green stage lights. The banner reads Erik Perry, 30.

Erik Perry

Chill, kind, and smarter than people give him credit for, Erik joined because he was bored—and hopes the games will keep going.

"Nah, I'm good. Kinda hoping this goes on forever, honestly."

Background

Erik grew up in Clearwater Bay's Lust District, where nobody wants for anything and nothing gets taken care of. Why fix it when you can just get another one? By thirty he'd had everything he ever asked for and cared about none of it. Unemployed, easygoing, usually a little high, he drifted through life without much reason to stand up. He's a demi-human panda, though most people only ever notice the hat.

Why he joined

A sponsored ad turned up in his feed that seemed to know him a little too well. For once, here was something he couldn't just be handed. He signed up that night and bought his own ticket.

Play style

Erik moves loose and easy, with a fluid grace that makes him hard to pin down. He's smarter than people give him credit for and happy to help others get ahead, mostly because people who actually want something fascinate him. He plays along with Benny's arbitrary rules, enjoys every minute, and selfishly hopes the games never end.

Strengths

Fluid movement. Underestimated intelligence. Unbothered under pressure. Makes friends fast.

Weaknesses

Too comfortable for his own good. He doesn't take threats seriously until they're right in front of him, and he wants the games to keep going in a place where the games are what kill you.
